South Tirol – From the Sacred Magdalene village to Gampen Alm hut in aerial pictures

Small church dedicated to St. John of Nepomuk is situated at the end of Willnöss valley in St. Magdalena village and belongs to historical farmhouse Ranuihof.

I spent several days in South Tirol in Villnöss valley. I have my small drone with me, so I took some pictures. You can see some of them in my short photo essay. As you can see, the weather was perfect and Dolomites… The Dolomites are beautiful in any weather!!!

Massif Geisler Gruppe extends over forests. The Ranuihof farmhouse was builded before 17. century and a is part of Roter Hahn – vacation on farms in South Tirol.DCIM100MEDIADJI_0066.JPG

But the view of Villnös valley vas also nice. All meadows are still so green and sunny day make them greener.

Then I continue to Seceda, the mountain station of lift in Val Gardena valley in 2500 metros. Here is big cross with Jesus and metal panorama. If you go up you can see also the Villnöss valley above the cross with Brogles Alm at the end.

The massif of Geislel Gruppe was nice in blue sky, so I started my wandering to Gampen Alm.

The way is going through Panascharte in massif Geisler Gruppe and was really hard. It is strait way down with ropes and metal staples. The way down is real zig-zag.

But the journey was worth the effort. At the end of Villnöss valley we waited beautiful views and great Gampen Alm hut with excellent cuisine. And nice view of Geisler Gruppe massif. Gampen Alm hut is in nice area in 2062 metresDCIM100MEDIADJI_0048.JPG and was rebuilded in 1992.
